The Famous Insects and Spiders Playing Cards details and description
Over 5 million different species of insects and spiders (or as our kids seem to know them - mini beasts) share our world. Whilst it is ture that some spread disease and others can inflict poisonous bites, the majority are enormously beneficial - helping to pollinate flowers, scavening on dead plants and animals, providing a food source for many species higher up the food chain. Whether considered "ugly" or "beautiful" they are all fascinating to look at.
Artist Fiona Saunders depicts 54 different creepy-crawlies and bugs with exciting vibrancy in this unusual pack of beautiful playing cards - a great glimpse into the world of entomology.
These cards are 56 x 87mm which is standard European Bridge size
