Old Hamlet's Fairtrade Whisky Toddy Spice Mix In Holly Green Bag. Developed in the 1970s from a family recipe, Old Hamlet's sugar and spice mixes for whisky toddy have been enjoyed by thousands over the years - just so simple and delicious.
Blended in small batches by hand to traditional recipes. Then, the sachets are sacked in Holly Green drawstring bags, sewn in the UK.

Ingredients: Sugar, Ginger, Nutmeg.

Directions: Add 450ml (¾ pint) of cold water into a saucepan, then add the contents of one Whisky Toddy sachet. Heat to boiling, reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally until the sugar has dissolved. Remove from the heat. Add 50ml (two measures) of whisky to the spicy syrup. Reheat, but do not let boil. Serve hot, perhaps with a slice of lemon and a pinch of ground nutmeg.
Store in a cool, dry place.
