Smouldering Barbecue Sauce

A tomato based sauce with chilli, warming paprika and sweet honey flavours that can be used in pasta dishes, chilli dishes or even as a topping for bruchetta type breads



  1. Place all the ingredients in a saucepan. Whisk to combine over a medium heat
  2. As the sauce begins to boil, reduce the heat and simmer for about half an hour, until the sauce has reduced to a favourable thickness (about half)
  3. Store in a jar and put in the fridge, when cool, or freeze
