Blackthorn Wooden Coffee Scoop, hand made in Yorkshire details and description
Handmade wooden coffee scoops made from Blackthorn, created by Rachel of Asenbee Honey in Yorkshire.
Wood is a natural product, each spoon has been hand carved with love, small flaws may be visible particularly if your spoon has been carved from foraged and reclaimed wood. This is part of its charm and originality. Making every spoon unique.
The coffee scoops tend to average out between 13cm to 15cm to give the balance between the slightly larger scoop/bowl. Each scoop tends to hold roughly a tablespoon of coffee.
Rachel's comment on Blackthorn is: "Blackthorn has wonderful folklore attached to it and I never cut Blackthorn. The wood is always foraged, just in case any of the folklore is true!"
Please do not place in a dishwasher or use boiling water or harsh chemicals or bleach to clean your spoon. Wash your spoon in hand hot water, wipe with a clean tea towel and leave to air dry thoroughly.
