Just follow the instructions to make simple and delicious traditional spice flavoured wintry, warm drinks, or cool in fridge for intriguing summer cocktails.
Hand-blended in the UK to authentic family recipes created in the 1970s, Old Hamlet's mulling spices have been enjoyed by many thousands over the years.
Ingredients: sugar, nutmeg, cinnamon, lemon peel, clove, mace.
Sugar, Nutmeg, Cinnamon, Clove, Mace: traded in compliance with Fairtrade Standards. Total 99.5%.
Directions for Brandy Cup: Add 250ml of cold water into a saucepan, then add the contents of one Brandy Cup sachet. Heat to boiling, reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally until the sugar has dissolved. Remove from the heat, cool down, then strain and refrigerate. Pour 250ml of brandy over some sliced summer fruit, e.g. strawberries. Pour the cooled sugar syrup over the fruit, before adding one chilled 75cl bottle of dry sparkling white wine. Serve and enjoy.

Directions for Mulled Wine: Pour one 75cl bottle of red wine and a small glass of orange juice (optional) into a saucepan, then add the contents of one Mulled Wine sachet; or 1½ teaspoons per glass. Heat gently, stirring occasionally. Do not let boil, but serve hot. For special occasions, add 1 tablespoon of brandy or liqueur and slices of fresh orange. For a non-alcoholic alternative, replace red wine with apple or cranberry juice.

Directions for Whisky Toddy: Stir contents of one sachet of Old Hamlet Whisky Toddy Spices into 450 ml or a quarter pint cold water. Heat, stirring occasionally until the sugar has dissolved. Bring to the boil and remove off the heat instantly. Add two drams or 50 ml of whisky, stir and enjoy.
