These Olives et al preserved lemons are wonderful in salads and tagines and in a host of other Moroccan dishes. They make a really great and interesting storecupboard ingredient. Proper salt preserved lemons to add a huge lemony kick to all manner of dishes. Sharp.
Made in the traditional salt cured fashion – allowed to pickle over a period of weeks these preserved lemons are an absolute staple in North African, Moroccan and Middle Eastern dishes. Cured in water, lemon juice and salt they should be washed before use – the pulp can be used to add a lemony tartness to dressings, stews or sauces but it’s the peel that is the real star of the show. Chop finely or use whole.
These lemons are soft skinned fruit with a sharp zesty flavour. Olives et al preserved lemons are delicious in marinades, sauces and dressings. Alternatively, add to couscous or rice dishes - even stuffings. These lemons work really well in a chicken before roasting for a real lemony tang.

Usage: Rinse well before use. These lemons have been cured in brine and need to be rinsed before use to remove excess salt.
Ingredients: Lemons 100%, water , salt
Instructions: Wash lemon to be used in cold water. Dice anad use skin only or skin and flesh as required.
Once opened keep refrigerated and use within 3 months.
