Suma's organic dark speckled lentils are ideal in soups, nut roasts, stews and pie fillings.

This product is Gluten-free and Vegan (however it is packed in an environment that handles gluten)

These organic speckled lentils are small slate-green lentil with a delicate blue marbling. These are the same type as puy lentils which are considered by many to be the best lentil because of their unique peppery flavour and the fact they hold their shape during cooking.

They are one of the few lentils to be identified by area of cultivation – grown in the Le Puy region of France - but these ones were grown outside of that region so cannot be designated "Puy".

Suma's dried rganic speckled lentils are from Canada.
