Scented Couscous

Couscous is quick to make and the recipe below can be altered with sundried tomatoes, various vegetables or extra spices if you so wish.


What to do

  1. You can prepare the couscous on its own by steaming it over boiling water for 20 minutes, or you can use this more exotic version. Sprinkle 300ml water on the couscous and leave for 10 minutes. Break up the lumps that form with your fingers.
  2. Now melt the butter in a frying pan or heavy bottomed saucepan and fry the couscous with all the other ingredients for 4 minutes until warm and fragrant.
