Product Description

Old Hamlet’s Fruity Mulling Spice mix is a colourful and fruitier take on flavours to make a top notch mulled wine.

Old Hamlet’s Fruity Mulling Spices was created in 2018 by Axel Steenberg. Its a premium blend whilst still being a simple-to-use mix to perfectly flavour one bottle of red wine.

Hand-blended in small batches in North Yorkshire, packed into single-serve sachets.

How to make fruity mulled wine: Add a wine glass (200 ml) of cold water into a saucepan, then add the contents of one sachet. Heat to boiling, reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally until the sugar has dissolved and the water reduced by half. Remove from heat and let stand for 10 minutes. Pour one 75 cl bottle of red wine into the saucepan. Reheat, sieve and serve hot, but do not let it boil. For special occasions, add slices of fresh orange doing the first boiling stage and add one tablespoon of fruit brandy to the mulled wine just before serving.
