Steenbergs Nasi Goreng enables you to create your own version of this popular Indonesian-Singaporean-Malaysian dish at home. Nasi Goreng literally means fried rice and you can add to the rice any ingredients that you would like – vegetables, chicken, fish, eggs and prawns. It’s a great standby dish or for a lazy Sunday supper in front of the TV. Nasi Goreng is bit like a paella but with the spicy kick and heat that you would expect from street food from South East Asia – just delicious and a truly great way to use that boiled rice that you left in the fridge and didn’t quite know what to do with. Just use some of Steenbergs nasi goreng mix to this fried dish to give it a delicious South East Asian flavour kick. It can be eaten at any time of day or night and is often a breakfast dish in South East Asia.
