Steenbergs Organic Panch Phora is Steenbergs take on the Bengali equivalent of China 5 Spice and is a mix of five seed spices. In Indian spice shops, it is sometimes called panch puran or panch phoron or panch pora. Steenbergs Organic Panch Phora is a blend of organic brown mustard, organic nigella, organic cumin seeds, organic fenugreek and organic fennel together for this unique mix of diverse flavours. Steenbergs Organic Panch Phora works well with potato, so try frying cooked, sliced potato with a liberal sprinkle of Steenbergs Organic’s Panch Phora or even mixed into a seeded bread mix – great!
