Old Hamlet’s Spiced Apple Juice Bundles are a blend of spices tied into individual hand-tied muslin pouchettes, each enough for 1 litre of apple juice.

This is a great spice flavouring for those dark wintry nights, for Christmas or Thanksgiving.

Old Hamlet’s Spiced Apple Spices were created in 1970s as a simple-to-use mix that would perfectly flavour Spiced Apple Juice.

Hand-blended in small batches in North Yorkshire, packed and hand-tied into four single-serve muslin bundles, and presented in a green pillow pack.

How to make spiced apple juice: Pour 1 litre of apple juice into a saucepan. Add 1 Spiced Apple bundle and maybe a little sugar. Heat gently, stirring occasionally. When nearly boiling, remove from the heat and allow to stand for 10 minutes. Reheat. Remove from the heat and serve hot. For special occasions, add some slices of apple or lemon.

This is one of Sophie’s favourite warming drinks in the winter, just infusing the pouchettes in apple juice for half an hour and then gently warming them up. A great alcohol-free version of mulling to get you in the festive mood.
