Old Hamlet Wine & Spice Spiced Cider Spice Mix Bundles – Green Pillow Pack

Old Hamlet’s Spiced Cider Bundles are a blend of spices tied into individual hand-tied muslin pouchettes. Each bundle is enough for 1 litre of cider or apple juice and there are four bundles in this green pillow pack.

It’s a great spice flavouring for those dark wintry nights, for Christmas or Thanksgiving.

Old Hamlet’s Spiced Cider and Apple Spices were created in 1970s as a simple-to-use mix that would perfectly flavour Spiced Cider. It’s hand-blended in small batches in North Yorkshire, packed and hand-tied into four single-serve muslin bundles, and presented in a green pillow pack.

How to make spiced cider: Pour 1 litre of cider into a saucepan. Add 1 Spiced Cider bundle and maybe a little sugar. Heat gently, stirring occasionally. When nearly boiling, remove from the heat and allow to stand for 10 minutes. Reheat but do not boil. Remove from the heat and serve hot. For special occasions, add some slices of apple or lemon.
