Honey sweetened oaty bread, no refined sugar. Recipe for bread machine.

Ingredients

For the recipe:
  • 1¼tsp yeast
  • 300g organic strong white bread flour
  • 100g medium oatmeal
  • 75g strong wholemeal
  • 1tsp Steenbergs organic natural sea salt
  • 3tbsp honey
  • 150ml natural yoghurt
  • 25g organic butter
  • 200ml water

Oaty bread with sweetness from honey

Method

Put the ingredients into the bread machine in the order above. Set bread machine to basic programme with a light crust. Press start.

Just before baking (if you remember), brush the top of the dough with water and sprinkle with some extra oatmeal. When baked, take bread from the machine and cool on a wire rack.
