Product Description
Steenbergs Arrowroot is a pure, natural starch. Our arrowroot is ground cassava, which is from Brazil. The flavour of arrowroot is neutral.
Arrowroot is a general thickener. Use arrowroot to thicken any savoury sauce – this gives a clear colour instead of the cloudiness that flour or cornflour gives.
To make a glaze: mix 1 tbsp with 2 tbsp cold water to dissolve then add approximately 250 ml water or liquid. Heat to boiling point and remove from heat.
