Steenbergs Organic Chamomile

Steenbergs organic Chamomile herbal tea is a wonderfully floral chamomile brew from German chamomile. Chamomile is one of the oldest garden herbs, with a reputation as a medicinal plant that remains today. It was considered a universal remedy by the ancient Egyptians and chamomile teas are still popular today to battle illness, promote calm and relieve anxiety at bedtime, as well as helping with digestion. Axel enjoys cup of chamomile every evening to take away the hassle of the day.

Tea brewing: Put 1 tsp of Chamomile per cup into the pot. Bring a kettle of freshly drawn water to the boil, then pour this heated water over the flowers. Put the lid on the pot and leave to brew for 5 minutes.

Tasting notes: Pretty yellow flower heads with white petals that brews a straw-coloured, relatively thick infusion, tasting delicate, floral, slightly sweet with hints of apple.
