Steenbergs Green Redbush

Green Rooibos is a lovely, rich herbal tea – a great alternative to green tea. Just north of Cape Town, South Africa, the rooibos, rooibosch tea leaves are processed to bring the wonderful herbal tisane that’s a great caffeine-free alternative to green teas. Green rooibos or redbush is low in tannin, caffeine-free, is naturally sweet and refreshing in taste. It is rich in essential minerals and contains vitamin C as well as more antioxidants than traditional rooibos. And just like ‘tea’ teas, it’s packed full of antioxidants.

Tea brewing: brew  with 1 teaspoon of rooibos leaf tea per 2-cup pot (2.5 g per 250 ml water). Add boiling water, infuse for 4 minutes. Do not add milk.

Tasting notes: Refreshing, smooth and sweet, with grassy notes.
