Steenbergs Organic Harissa is blended its own recipes in small batches in North Yorkshire with no nasties added, then packed in small batches for maximum freshness. Harissa warming, earthy blend of spices that’s a mainstay of North African and Middle Eastern cuisine. The heat of cayenne is rounded out with the earthy warmth of caraway, coriander and cumin. To make it into a paste, just add water and stir or make your own Tunisian harissa paste – some tomato paste, two roasted red peppers, garlic, Steenbergs organic harissa, olive oil and lemon and whizz down in a blender.
