Old Hamlet’s Fairtrade Mulling Wine Mix is a blend of sugar and spices to make the classic festive mulled wine. Whether you call it gluhwein, glogg or vin chaud this mix makes it easy.

Old Hamlet’s Fairtrade Mulling Wine spice Mix was created in 1990s as a simple-to-use mix that would perfectly flavour one bottle of red wine.

The only change since then is that the recipe has contained Fairtrade ingredients since 2006.

Hand-blended in small batches in North Yorkshire, packed into single-serve sachets, and presented in Royal Stuart drawstring bags – also sewn in the UK. Four sachets in one cloth bag.

How to make mulled wine: Pour one 75cl bottle of red wine and a small glass of orange juice (optional) into a saucepan, then add the contents of one sachet. Heat, stirring occasionally, Do not let boil, but serve hot. For special occasions, add one tablespoon of brandy or liqueur and some slices of fresh lemon or orange.

NB: Can use apple juice to make a non alcoholic version, always drink responsibly.
