Steenbergs Organic Nettle Leaf

Organic Nettle is a traditional herbal tisane and is naturally caffeine free and comes loose leaf. Nettle tea brews a light green-yellow and has a pleasant and herby flavour, which is bland and slightly tannic. Nettle nourishes and improves your inner glow, cleansing, detoxifying and purifying your body and soul, and is a good source of minerals – including iron.

Tea brewing: Boil freshly drawn water, then pour on the tea leaves. For a mug: Put 1 teaspoon per cup and steep for about 5 minutes. For a pot: Put 1 teaspoon per cup; steep for about 5 minutes.

Tasting notes: Bitter, herby, reminiscent of a spicy spinach.
