Product Description
Steenbergs Organic Onion Powder is made from fresh onions that are dried and ground. It has a pungent onion flavour, without the fuss of prepping fresh onions – no more tears!
We source premium Organic Onion Powder. It has a characteristic oniony taste – sharp, pungent, but slightly sweeter and less acidic than fresh onions. Onion powder disperses through your dishes, giving an even savoury flavour. Use instead of fresh onion, but especially good for running through white sauces and in pâtés or for making barbecue rubs. It enhances soups, dressings and rubs.
Axel’s Tasting Notes: Onion powder is pungent, bittersweet and sulphurous.
