Steenbergs Organic Orange Blossom Water is a premium, natural orange flower water.
Orange Blossom Water lifts cakes, pastries and puddings into foodie heaven. In Middle Eastern cookery, it is used in savoury dishes and for sweet foods like baklava. In Europe, orange flower water flavours madeleines and homemade marzipan at Christmas.
It’s made for us with freshly picked organic orange flowers that are distilled with water on 1:1 basis. It’s filtered then bottled in drums. Steenbergs bottles it down into 100ml bottles for your convenience.
Try using Steenbergs Organic Orange Blossom Water in home made ice-creams, add it to custards, cream and yoghurt. You can sprinkle it over fruit. Orange blossom water gives a delicious twist to creme caramel or creme brulée, egg custards and panna cotta, replacing the vanilla extract in these recipes for orange blossom water.
If you feel brave, sprinkle it over chicken that is being roasted towards the end of the cooking time, or even a Middle Eastern lamb.
