Product Description
Steenbergs Organic Harissa Powder is a premium, organic spice blend from North Africa cookery. We blend it to our own, authentic recipe in small batches in North Yorkshire with no nasties added. We then pack it down in small batches for maximum freshness.
Harissa is a warming, earthy blend of spices that’s a mainstay of North African and Middle Eastern cuisine. The earthy flavours of caraway, coriander and cumin tones down the heat of cayenne pepper. We finish it off with the freshness of organic mints.
To make it into a paste: just add water and stir or make your own Tunisian harissa paste – some tomato paste, two roasted red peppers, garlic. Steenbergs Organic harissa, olive oil and lemon and whizz down in a blender.
We hand blend Harissa in rural North Yorkshire at the Steenbergs spice factory.

Store in a cool, dark place.
Recycling
Glass: Reuse, Widely Recycled. Metal Lid: Reuse, Widely Recycled. To remove the labels: the best way is to apply heat with a hairdryer and then they peel off.
