Seggiano - Lunaio Organic Mandarin Olive Oil

Seggiano’s organic mandarin olive oil from Italy packs a citrus punch and is great in dressings and in  baking.

This organic stone milled extra virgin oil is great in salads and as part of a boost of flavour when cooking – add it to chicken and vegetables when roasting. This olive oil works well as a dipping oil and with seafood.

Unlike most flavoured oils which have extracts added to the oil, this extra virgin olive oil is totally infused with the warm sweet perfume and flavour of juicy mandarins by stone milling olives and fresh mandarins together.

Made in Puglia, southern Italy, by Saverio and Grazia De Carlo whose families have farmed and milled olives for generations. This certified organic oil is produced using hand picked Ogliarola olives and really fresh local organic fruit. Grazia chose a wild mandarin variety used nowadays only as a pollinator, because it has an intense perfume which is imparted to the oil.

Ingredients are chosen for tradition and flavour. The Ogliarola olive is an old fashioned Puglia variety producing a delicate oil which enhances the subtle flavour of warm fruity mandarins.
