Steenbergs Organic Paprika

Steenbergs Organic Paprika is sweet paprika from Murcia. It has a deep red colour and a sweet, warming aroma and flavour. It is the key to a great paella.

Steenbergs sources premium organic paprika from a fourth generation family of paprika growers and processors from Murcia, Spain. The pepper pods are grown organically in Murcia, air dried and ground. Our paprika has so much of its natural oils in it that it cannot be machine packed and is carefully hand packed by us in North Yorkshire.

Organic paprika is a rich, red coloured spice with a well rounded and balanced flavour that’s gentle, sweet and warming. It will perk up any savoury dish from Romesco sauce and goulash, sprinkled through a white or cheesy sauce or over hard boiled eggs or mix it with salt, pepper, oregano and perhaps a pinch of sugar to rub into chicken before roasting. If you need a bit more heat, add a bit of cayenne.
