Steenbergs Organic Baharat is one of Steenbergs’ authentic spice blends that only uses natural ingredients. Steenbergs Organic Baharat has been created to give the exotic flavours of a typical blend of spices that is used in Turkey, Egypt, the Gulf States and into Iraq. It’s really good with lamb, so try rubbing it on a leg of lamb before slow roasting, or mix into roasted vegetables. Add 1 – 2 teaspoons per 500g of chicken or red meat but less for fish or seafood. Baharat is not a hot blend but is a balanced mix of the sweetness of cassia, nutmeg and cloves with the pungent, oily warmth of black pepper and paprika, brought together with a touch of coriander and cumin. It’s woody, aromatic and deeply pungent – a dreamy mix.

Recycling
Glass: Reuse, Widely Recycled. Metal Lid: Reuse, Widely Recycled. To remove the labels: the best way is to apply heat with a hairdryer and then they peel off.
