Grumpy Mule’s Fairtrade Espresso Ground Filter Coffee. Roasted and blended in Meltham, Yorkshire.

It’s called High & Mighty because its base is Arabica coffee and quality Arabica coffee only grows 800 metres above sea level. This blend is a specialty grade from Brazil and other seasonal producers.

It’s kick-ass coffee with a bold taste. Expect rich cocoa, hazelnut and a full body.

Coffee brewing tips

For cafetiere/filter:

Measure two level dessertspoons (15g) of ground Espresso coffee to 250ml water per cup. Pour over boiled water that’s come off the boil (ideally between 92 – 96 degrees C), or else you could burn the brew.

For Espresso machines:

In your machine, add 14-18g of ground coffee for a double shot. Extraction time around 25 seconds.
