Old Hamlet Wine & Spice Mulled Wine Spice Bundles – Red Pillow Pack

Old Hamlet’s Mulled Wine spice bundles are a blend of crushed spices tied into individual hand-tied muslin pouchettes, each enough to flavour one bottle of red wine.

Each red pillow pack contains 4 hand-tied muslin spice bundles, so that’s enough for 4 bottles of mulled wine.

Old Hamlet’s authentic mulled wine spice mix is a classic that was created in the mid-1990s and is unchanged. Mulled wine is a traditional festive drink and the aroma of it being made is part of the festive period.

How to make mulled wine: Pour one bottle of red wine into a saucepan. Add two tablespoons of sugar (to taste) and one Mulled Wine spice bundle and heat gently, stirring occasionally. When nearly boiling, remove from heat and allow to stand for 10 minutes. Reheat, add a dash if brandy of you want, and serve hot. Do NOT boil. For special occasions, add some slices of fresh lemon or orange, or perhaps even a bay leaf. At home we like to dilute with either wine or apple juice.
