Steenbergs Organic Lebkuchen Spice Mix is the perfect German style baking blend.

Axel Steenberg remembers the smells of German Christmas biscuits and cakes being made from his childhood. His mother, being German (Axel is born and bred in Northumberland), used to make her own stollen and lebkuchen – the traditional Christmas biscuits from Nuremburg.  A touch of her home in Northumberland, before the biscuits were easier to get in the UK.

Steenbergs Organic Lebkuchen Spice Mix a complex baking spice mix, heavily dependent on the sweet notes of cinnamon, but with strong sweet spice notes of cardamom and cloves coming through.

Blended and created at Steenbergs spice factory in rural North Yorkshire.
