Steenbergs Organic Stollen Spice Mix is a premium baking spice mix for Christmas time.
It’s a Steenberg family recipe of Christmas spices for flavouring homemade, enriched Stollen Bread. Stollen is a classic German sweet fruit bread, coated in icing sugar and with a marzipan centre. It’s one of Axel’s favourites and, for him, it’s a sign that the festive season has begun.
Stollen Spice Mix has a sweet base core from allspice, cinnamon and nutmeg, with the aromatics of cardamom and clove. These are all brought together with the amalgamating skills of coriander seed. For us, it’s the eucalypt aroma of cloves that signifies the spirit of Christmas.
Sophie’s Guide for Use: Just add 1 teaspoon per loaf, so there’s enough in a jar for about 7 loaves.
Steenbergs organic stollen spice is blended at Steenbergs dedicated eco-spice factory in North Yorkshire in England.

Recycling
Glass: Reuse, Widely Recycled. Metal Lid: Reuse, Widely Recycled. To remove the labels: the best way is to apply heat with a hairdryer and then they peel off.
