Grumpy Mule’s Top Notch organic Fairtrade Filter Ground Coffee is their house blend of coffee. In Grumpy Mule’s own wards : “using coffee from smallholders in Colombia and other seasonal origins, we ensure only our finest kick-ass coffee makes its way into this blend for a sweeter well-rounded cup.”

With tastes of berries and dark chocolate.

Roast 3 (medium strength)

Roasted in Meltham, Yorkshire.

Brewing tips for Grumpy Mule’s organic  Fairtrade filter ground coffee:

For cafetiere/filter

Measure 2 level dessert spoons (15g) of ground coffee to 250ml of water per cup. Pour over water that’s come off the boil (92 – 96 C0 or else you could burn the brew.

For espresso

In your machine, add 14-18g of ground coffee for a double shot. Extraction time around 25 seconds.
