Product Description

Steenbergs Organic Italian Herbs is a premium blend of organic herbs for everyday Italian cooking. Add to flavour pasta sauces or sprinkle over a pizza. Great in a ragu for Spaghetti Bolognaise or Lasagne.

Steenbergs Organic Italian Herb Seasoning was created by Axel Steenberg back in 2004. It’s one of our Storecupboard Ingredients.

Core to the blend are the classic Mediterranean herbs – organic basil, organic thyme, organic marjoram and oregano. For us, we love the robust, peppery flavours of the oregano and marjoram that add an Italian feel to the herbiness of the thyme. Basil is tomatoes’ best friend. To these, we have added some sage for richness, garlic for and rosemary. Enjoy it sprinkled over pizza or add it to the mince when making Spaghetti Bolognaise.

Guide for Use: 2 – 4 tsp per 500g of vegetables or meat.
