Steenbergs Organic Yunnan
Product Description
Steenbergs organic Yunnan black Tea is loose leaf and from the Yunnan Province of China. This is the birthplace of Chinese teas. Yunnan is new to black tea production, only beginning in the 1940s. It is processed from Da Ye tea bushes.
Steenbergs Organic Yunnan black tea leaves have some golden tips and makes a medium brew that has a smooth roundness, with none of the almost tobacco-tasting smokiness of some Yunnan teas.
Tea brewing: Use a warmed tea-pot and put 1 heaped teaspoon per person of organic Yunnan tea leaves into the pot, add freshly boiled water and leave to infuse for 5 minutes. Drink without milk.
Tasting notes: a browny red brew, rounded with no bitterness, soft and honeyed notes.
