Steenbergs Organic Pizza Seasoning is a premium organic herb seasoning. It was created by Axel Steenberg in 2012 for sprinkling over pizza.
Pizza Seasoning is a classic bit of fusion creativity. It’s a Mediterranean-style blend of herbs that’s designed for pizza but works for all dishes we think of as Italian as opposed to something you could buy in Italy. It includes basil, thyme, marjoram and oregano, together with some sage, garlic and rosemary.
Enjoy it sprinkled over pizza, perhaps adding a few chilli flakes if you like a bit of spicy heat.
This blend, like all Steenbergs blends, has been created by Steenbergs and is blended in small batches in the Steenbergs spice factory in North Yorkshire. Founders – Axel and Sophie Steenberg – are still very much at the heart of this family run business.
