Who can resist a chocolate orange treat? Many thanks to Nikibakes for this delicious Easter bake. A great way to use up Easter eggs – if you have any left!
Method
01
Butter and line a tin with greaseproof paper, set aside. In a large saucepan, melt the butter, sugar, syrup and cocoa and allow to cool for five minutes. Stir through the cornflakes, the orange extract and marshmallows.
02
Pour the mixture into the prepared tin and press down, then smooth the top with the back of a spoon. Microwave both chocolates in short 20 second bursts, stirring frequently, until melted. Pour them over the mixture in the tin. Use a palette knife or spoon to smooth over, so it's completely coated in chocolate. Cover the top with chocolate orange Easter eggs and any other Easter decorations you would like at this stage.
03
Put the tin into the fridge and leave for about 2 hrs to set, or overnight. Run a kitchen knife under the hot tap then cut into slices and enjoy!
