Easy Speedy Vanilla Cake recipe

Ingredients

For the recipe:

300g unsalted butter
300g coconut sugar
3 medium eggs
300g self raising flour
1 tsp vanilla extract
icing sugar + a little water to create the icing
to decorate fresh/pressed flowers

Method

Preheat your oven to 180ºC/line a brownie tin with greaseproof paper.

Beat together your butter and coconut sugar until light and fluffy.

Add in the eggs, self raising flour, and vanilla extract and beat again until combined well.

Pour into the tin and bake in the oven for 45-50 minutes, or until baked through.

Once baked, let the cake cool fully in the tin. Ice away and decorate with your flowers, easy!
