Product Description

Steenbergs Bicarbonate of Soda is a pure baking soda from France.

  • It is aluminium free and low chlorine.
  • Its a gentle raising agent.
  • It can be used in baking cakes and biscuits, for example Yorkshire parkin, gingerbread, soda bread or snickerdoodles.
  • The flavour is neutral.

To make your own baking powder: 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda to 2 tsp cream of tartar, or upwards in that ratio.

Also works to remove nasty odours in your fridge or freshen up carpets – just give it a search to find out how.
