Steenbergs White Tea With Lemongrass and rose not only looks absolutely fabulous both in the packet and the pot, but tastes brilliant as well. Brewing in a glass teapot is a good idea as you then get the full beauty of the colours of the rose, cornflower and orange blossoms that gives this tea so much joy to make. Axel's concept for this tea is for a gentle lemony taste with the floral aroma of rose petals that will add some extra dimensionality to white tea, which some can find a tad on the dull side for some. So there you have it - a stunning tea, both to look at and to drink, but then I (Axel) am slightly biased.
Ingredients: Bai mu Dan white tea, lemongrass, orange blossom, rose petals, cornflower
Tea brewing: Into a warmed teapot, put 1 teaspoon of Steenbergs White Tea With Lemongrass & Orange Blossom per cup. Bring freshly drawn water to the boil and pour over the White Tea With Lemongrass & Orange Blossom. Let it brew for 3-5 minutes depending on how strong you like it. I don't advise adding sugar, but you can if you must, but never add milk.
