Made to Old Hamlet's original recipes from the mid-1990s, these champagne cocktail spices add a warm spiciness to a chilled champagne cup. Use a bottle of prosecco, other sparkling wine or your cheaper champagnes. Old Hamlet packs these into stylish black pillow packs.

Ingredients: Ginger, Allspice, Lemon Peel, Mace.
Instructions: Add one muslin sachet to 150 ml of brandy and heat gently, without boiling. Remove from the heat and allow the brandy to cool for about 15 minutes. remove the sachet, Place a sugar lump in each champagne glass. Add some of the flavoured brandy, then pour over chilled champagne or sparkling wine.
Store in a cool, dark and dry place.
