Clearspring Organic rice mirin is a classic sweet Japanese condiment which adds aroma and depth to your cooking.
Whilst most mirin nowadays contains sugar and preservatives, Clearspring rice is naturally fermented with koji from just rice with some salt being added at the end of the process. Mirin has the unique ability to coax out and accentuate the natural flavours of foods. Mirin's mild sweetness balances soya sauce and is used to enhance sweet as well as savoury sauces, vinaigrettes, marinades, seafood dishes and flavouring sushi rice.
Ingredients: Sweet rice* (53%) , shochu* (water, cultured rice*), cultured rice* (8%), sea salt (2%). *organically grown.
Store in a cool dry place.
