Steenbergs Loose Leaf Lime Blossom Infusion (not to be confused with the dried lime leaves that we sell that's part of Thai cuisine) is a traditional herbal tea from the Linden Tree. Naturally caffeine free, Steenbergs Lime Flower Tea is warming, really aromatic and almost apple-like in flavour; very popular in Poland where it is called lipa tea. Lime blossom tea is slightly astringent because of its high tannin content, so you may like to drink a glass of cool water alongside, perhaps with a slice of lemon in it.
Lime Blossom tea (or Linden tea) is served in Steenbergs retailers range of herbal tea boxes.
How to brew Lime Flower Tea (Linden Tea): into a warmed teapot, put 2 heaped teaspoons of Steenbergs Lime Blossom tea, or more for a more robust flavour. Bring freshly drawn water to the boil, then pour over the Lime Flowers. Steep for 3-5 minutes. Drink without adding milk or sugar. Relax and enjoy.
