Butter

120g

caster sugar

1 level tablespoon

Steenbergs orange blossom tea ground

1 tablespoon

organic orange blossom water

The Steenbergs organic orange blossom tea in these biscuits make for a wonderful cheese board biscuit.

The sharp taste from the tea takes the sweetness of the sugar away leaving an orange scented tang, great with a tangy Wensleydale or feta cheese and a fruity chutney.

Method

Warm the butter slightly
Rub the butter into the flour, ground tea, caster sugar and organic orange blossom water
Bring the mixture together to form a dough ball
Lightly flour a work surface and roll out the dough to about 1” even thickness
Cut out small biscuit shapes
Cook on a lined biscuit tray in the oven at 180’c for 15-20 minutes till lightly golden brown
Sprinkle very lightly with the organic cinnamon sugar
Cool on a wire rack
Serve on their own or with a cheese selection, chutneys, and fruit
