Strawberry and vanilla crumble recipe
A sweet seasonal treat and all made in an air fryer! Many thanks to Nikibakes for the recipe.
Ingredients
| a handful | strawberries, sliced |
| 1 tbsp | vanilla extract |
| 150g | salted butter, from the fridge |
| 100g | plain flour |
| 80g | light brown sugar |
| 1-2 tbsp | Demerara sugar |
| to serve | custard |
Method
- Divide your sliced strawberries evenly between 3-4 ramekins and distribute the vanilla extract between the portions.
- Next, in a large bowl add your flour and sugar and mix well with a fork.
- Add in your butter and rub into the flour mixture until course breadcrumbs appear.
- Top your strawberries with the crumble mixture and a sprinkling of demerara sugar.
- Air Fry for 8 minutes on 170°C or until the Crumble is bubbling away. Top off with lashing of custard and enjoy!
