This is a traditional Kashmiri masala chai that will help you digest any spiced food. If you wish, you can reduce or omit the sugar from the organic tea.
4tsp organic muscovado sugar, or other brown sugar
½tsp organic green cardamoms, lightly crushed
2tsp organic green tea leaves, ideally Indian organic green tea
1250ml freshly drawn water Put organic sugar, organic cinnamon and organic cardamom pods into a pan. Add the water to the pan and bring to the boil. Gently simmer for 5 minutes then take off boil. Add organic green tea leaves to water and leave to infuse for 3 - 5 minutes. Strain and serve in tea glasses or tea cups.
