A new addition to Old Hamlet's range of mulling products for wine or cider - Cacao Mulled Wine Spices give a chocolatey twist to your mulled wine, like drinking a festive bar of your favourite chocolate.

We blend the spices to our own recipe, then add a little to a muslin that is hand-tied, before putting into Old Hamlet's iconic drawstring bags.  Old Hamlet's cacao mulling wine spices are presented in handmade calico drawstring bags, which are sewn here in the UK.  

Each calico bag contains 4 pouchettes; net weight: 20g.

Ingredients: Cacao, Orange Peel, Cinnamon, Allspice.

How to make Cacao Mulled Wine: Pour one 75cl bottle of red wine into a saucepan.  Add 2 tablespoons of sugar and 1 Cacao Mulled Wine spice bundle.  Heat gently, stirring occasionally.  When nearly boiling, remove from the heat and allow to stand for 10 minutes.  Reheat, add a dash of brandy.  Do not let boil, but serve hot.

Store in a cool dry place.
