Old Hamlet's take on the classic Scandinavian Christmas mulled wine drink - Gløgg and Glogg.
Old Hamlet's mulling wine spices have been enjoyed by many thousands over the years, Old Hamlet's mulling wine mix is a simple-to-use, family recipe designed to flavour one bottle of red wine.
Hand-blended in the UK to Old Hamlet's new and original recipes from 2018, and packed into single serve envelopes. Great hamper ingredient.
Instructions: Pour one 75cl bottle of red wine into a saucepan, then add the contents of one Gløgg sachet; or 1½ teaspoons per glass. Heat gently, stirring occasionally. Do not let boil, but serve hot. For special occasions, add 1 tablespoon of brandy and some raisins to the red wine, then garnish with blanched almond slices.
Ingredients: sugar, cinnamon, orange peel, clove, cardamom.
