Origin: Chiloe Island, Valdivian temperate rainforests, oceanic climate. The Mapuche use Chiloe like pepper.
Heat level 2 which is lively. (level 1 mild and sweet, level 8 - too hot!)
Latin name: Drimys winteri var. chiloense.
