Pomegranate Molasses 250ml - Odysea details and description

Odysea Pomegranate molasses is a wonderful all purpose natural sweet and sour condiment intense flavour and great ruby red colour.

Pomegranate molasses with it unique sweet and sour taste is delicious in salad dressings and savoury dishes including roasted nut and vegetable dips and marinades for meat, chicken, swordfish and tuna or drizzle over roast vegetables, fruit or yoghurt. Also delightful in desserts and dilute to create cordials, add to cocktails and sorbets.

Pomegranate molasses is a key ingredient in many Arabic dishes and can be used as a marinade for kebabs, or as a lemon substitute or even to make salad dressing, or in Nigel Slater's Roast Pork Belly With Pomegranate Molasses.

Odysea pomegranate molasses is made purely with the slow reduction of  pomegranate juice and contains 100% natural occurring sugars, with no additives.

It takes approx. 340g of pure pomegranate juice reduction to make a 250ml bottle of our molasses. The pomegranates are harvested from late August to mid-autumn, selected from a variety that yields bigger dark burgundy fruit with a good balance of sour & sweet flavours. Their  juice is extracted & slowly reduced until it becomes a dense syrup.

A proud two-star winner in Great Taste Awards, Odysea pomegranate molasses has been described by the judges as “flawless” in its “thick syrupy texture”, “carrying with it the sweet sharpness of the fruit, and quite some complexity”.

How to use pomegranate molasses in cooking?
Whisk into marinades or dressings, brush over meat or poultry as a glaze, drizzle over roast vegetables, fruit or yoghurt. Try mixing it with oil instead of lemon juice as a dressing. Get creative with cocktails: use it as  cordial or try mixing just a few drops with prosecco for a pomegranate fizz.

Ingredients: 100% concentrated pomegranate juice.

Suitable for vegans and vegetarians

Keep in cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. Shake well before use.
