Ingredients
| 4 | dessert apples, cored and sliced |
| 4 | peaches, skinned, stoned and sliced |
| 100g | strawberries, sliced |
| 4 | slices pineapple, cubed |
| 100g | lychees |
| 1 - 2 teaspoons | organic cassia Almond syrup: |
| 1 tablespoons | cornflour |
| 2 tablespoons | water |
| 2 tablespoons | organic ground almond |
| 450ml | water |
| 3 tablespoons | FAIRTRADE organic cane sugar |
Method
- Blend the cornflour with the 2 tablespoons of water.
- Put the almonds, water and blended cornflour into a pan and mix well. Gradually bring to the boil, stirring, then simmer for 10 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Remove from the heat and leave to cool, stirring occasionally to prevent skin forming.
- Put the fruit in a bowl, spoon over the almond syrup and sprinkle on the cassia powder.
