Ingredients
| 25g | tuna steaks |
| Olive oil | |
| Steenbergs Organic natural sea salt (alternatively instead of the pepper and salt add Steenbergs organic perfect salt blend) | |
| organic black pepper | |
| 1 | onion, finely sliced |
| 4 | sweet peppers, deseeded and chopped |
| 4 | ripe tomatoes, peeled, deseeded and chopped |
| 1 | small aubergine, finely diced |
| 1 | clove garlic, chopped and crushed |
| 2tsp | organic paprika |
| 1tsp | organic thyme |
| 1 | organic bay leaf |
Method
- Season with sea salt and pepper. Sear the tuna steaks in the olive oil.
- Put the tuna to one side, then fry the onion and peppers.
- When the vegetables are soft, add all the other ingredients and stir them together.
- Put the tuna back into the sauce and simmer for about 20 minutes. Serve with boiled rice and lettuce salad.
